1. Plywood - general information é è

In plywood we manufacture plywood from birch, alder, beech, pine. Usually plywood panel is made from different wood species e.g.: pine/alder, birch/pine, etc. The kind of wood used for outer plies determines the type of plywood i.e. hardwood plywood or softwood plywood. Inner plies might be from the same kind of wood as outher plies are or from different kinds of wood.

Depending on the type of glue used we classify plywood as:

• interior plywood with MR glue, • exterior plywood (waterproof), • exterior plywood with white melamine glue.

The most popular types of marking of plywood existing on the market, by the type of glue bond (bonding quality).

* Using glue for plywood manufacture does not cause it to cease being a natural product. The use of modern high quality resins results in plywood fulfilling requirements of hygienic class E1 (class A of formaldehyde emission according to EN 1084).

1-A. Physical and mechanical properties of plywood ç é è

1-E. Film faced plywood ç é è

General information

It is a plywood panel obtained from the pressed leaf on plywood special waterproof paper impregnated with resin, so-called film. Depending on the type of resin which is paper impregnated with phenolic resins and films are distinguished melamine films. The process pressing film takes place under high pressure and high temperature, so that the resin penetrates into the structure of the film timber base board resulting in a very resistant surface. With the application of the right kind of film shows the division of films for plywood and plywood with phenolic melamine films.

The following table shows the types of plywood with films available in our offer:

Plywood for concrete shattering: (exterior plywood with phenol film, smooth/smooth)

Latest trends in construction industry for using plywood plates overlaid with film for many shuttering works, has prompted us to introduce brand name plywood for concrete shuttering. Both small and large developers use for concrete shuttering plywood due to its excellent behaviour on building site and its possibility of use many times. Its high reputation has been acquired thanks to such properties as high resistance to mechanical damages, abrasion, moisture and water, high temperature, bursting and atmospheric conditions.

Non-slip plywood:  (exterior plywood with phenol film, net/smooth or net/net)

This plywood, similarly to plywood for concrete shuttering, is gaining more and more popularity in the construction industry, where it is used for platforms of multi-use scaffoldings, floors and working platforms in production units. Likewise in the car and transport industry for trailer and lorry floors, container floors, floors of cargo holds and car decks, etc. – where an anti-slippery surface is required.

Cut grooves in the plywood to the deposition of complex metal punching blades in the shape of the broken-down cardboard box.

1-G. Plywood strips ç é è

Beech and birch strips are made from plywood interior and foliated with decorative papers.
Foil type, size, and thickness are availible by request of the customer.

These strips meet the technical conditions suitable for hardwood plywood. This product has application in the furniture industry for upholstered furniture (beds, armchairs, sofas, etc.)
